To supplement the textbook and teachers guide is the curriculum map per grade level. It allows the teacher to compare and align the school-based curriculum with the contents of the Abiva textbook. It lays out the DepEd-prescribed K-to-12 standards and competencies and identifies the following components as found in the textbook and/or teachers guide: 21st-century skills, teaching strategies, differentiated instruction, assessments, and values integration.
